TEHRAN – Russia basketball team defeated Iran in two friendly matches.

The Russian team beat Team Melli 71:57 in Perm on Wednesday.

Russia had also defeated Iran 72:59 on Monday.

Point guard Alexander Shcherbenev had 12 points, five assists and three rebounds.

The warm-up matches were played as part of the training camp for the 2022 Asian Games.
